Water Damaged/Exposure Policy:
First, if your iPhone gets wet, DO NOT CHARGE IT!!!! Charging it is the absolute worst thing you can do!! Think of it this way, your TV or DVD player doesn't come on, do you place it in a tub of water and then plug it in to see if it now turns on? Of course not. So don't do the same with your iPhone. It's acting odd because it's soaking wet inside and it's short circuiting. Adding more electricity isn't going to do anything but further damage it to a point where it will not be repairable.
Turn it off and place it in the sun or better yet bring it here immediately so we can open it and dry it off! If it will not turn on or does not function, we will diagnose your water exposed iPhone. We will then contact you and give you a cost to repair it. If the cost is worth repairing then you let us know if we should proceed or not. If you decide it's too expensive simply pickup your device at no charge. Sometimes we will simply dry the inside of the iPhone with a heat gun and the iPhone will work again. If this is the case with your device, we will charge a standard $59 fee. We will only charge this fee if we get it working and will only contact you stating the iphone now functions after we dried it and you will be charged $59. You will not be charged for drying if the iPhone doesn't function. The cost for repairing a water damaged iPhone can be in the range of $59-$700. Some iPhones are not worth repairing or can not be repaired. Time required for diagnosing and repairing can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 72 hours. This is because water exposed devices are last on our priority list due to the difficulty and time required to diagnose.
